Satin weave, as the name suggests, creates fabrics with a satin effect. The binding looks like a twill, because there is only one binding point on each fiber except that these points are scattered to avoid the oblique effect. The fabric thus produced is then joined. The weft or warp prevails over the other, giving a uniform appearance. The fabric is smooth, with a glossy face and a matte back.
