Overview of Payment Methods

We offer a number of ways for you to pay for your purchases. Choose the one that suits you best.

The most common payment methods

By card or cash in store

We accept Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro and Diners Club. You can pay by card at all our stores, . If paying by cash, we only accept Czech crowns or euro.

By card online

You can pay online with a card that is enabled for use on the  internet. Transactions are encrypted and secure. Cards used for online payments must be issued in the EU.

When making an online payment, you can choose whether or not to save your card details. If you choose to save them, you will not need to re-enter your payment information every time you make a purchase.

You can change card details, and remove or add new cards, at any time in your account settings.

Cash on delivery

Pay the carrier for your purchase upon delivery to your selected address. .More about carriers »

Online banking

Payments made using the online payment gateway are processed almost immediately.

Other methods

Use one of the alternative payment methods. Bitcoin

Fast payment by cryptocurrency. You will be redirected to a secure gateway for payment. In the case that you need to return the goods, the purchase price will be refunded in Czech crowns to the amount stated on the invoice. It is not possible to return the purchase price in cryptocurrency. We currently do not allow payment by combining multiple cryptocurrencies, but you can make part-payments from your account using  cryptocurrency. Buy

After completing an order, the products are reserved and you will  be sent an email with the necessary payment information, including a variable symbol that you must include when making your paying.

When paying by bank transfer, it is necessary to allow for a longer time (usually 1-3 working days) for the payment to reach our account. For this reason, we recommend making payments online instead.

As soon as the payment is credited to our account, we will start processing your order.

We will send you notifications about the status of your order to the email address you provide. You can also check  the status of your order by logging into your My Cotex account. QR code

Pay for orders quickly and easily by using a mobile banking app. You no longer have to fill in your account number, variable symbol, etc. Just take a picture of the QR code on your smartphone and the payment order will be filled in automatically. Tax-free

When you export goods outside the European Union, you are entitled to a VAT refund at the airport or any Global Blue office. Now you don’t have to go back to the seller!

What do you have to do?

  • Make a purchase over 2000 CZK including VAT.
  • Export the goods within 3 months.
  • Show your passport to EU Customs officers and have your Global Blue Tax Free form confirmed.
  • Locate a Global Blue office ( within 5 months of purchase.
  • Submit the purchased goods, the confirmed Tax Free form and your purchase document.
  • Open your wallet and just wait for your money. 🙂
